Nimbus Note

If you write down everything you need to remember in a single Notepad document, you will have a hard time finding a specific piece of information. Nimbus Note comes with an excellent solution for taking notes and keeping track of them. It places simple and easy to understand controls at your disposal, as well as a wide range of useful features.

The application is available in free and paid editions, for all popular platforms, like Windows, Mac OS X, Android and iOS. Also, Nimbus Note comes as a browser extension as well, for Mozilla Firefox and Google Chrome. The software can be installed in no time, without any effort. It doesn't ask for any supplementary tools and its hardware requirements are modest.

Besides installing Nimbus Note, you have to create an online account, to keep your notes secure and to sync them to other devices. The main user interface has a logical and familiar layout. You may create folders for your notes, on the left side of the window, select notes in the central region and view their contents on the right side.

The application places standard editing tools at your disposal, for changing font and paragraph settings, highlighting text and so on. If you are familiar with any modern word processor, then you will feel right at home when editing your notes. Additionally, you can attach files, append a "To do" list and tag your notes to find them much faster.

Nimbus Note's key feature is the possibility of synchronizing notes to other devices over the Internet. Clicking the Sync option, located in the upper left corner of the interface will upload all your notes to your Nimbus online account right away. Once synchronized, notes can be accessed on a web-based user interface, together with their attached files, tags and "To do" lists. What's more, uploaded notes can be shared via direct link or posted on various social networks. Also, if you have Nimbus Note on a mobile device, you will be able to sync your notes to that device without any effort.
